The discovery was made by Julie Brickbuilder, a scout for the Creeper Conservation Collective (CCC), a group dedicated to protecting endangered Minecraft mobs and habitats. Using spyglass-enhanced thermal maps, Brickbuilder identified four red mooshrooms grazing peacefully among the trees. She later set up observation posts to confirm that the herd had made the area their new mushroom-strewn home.
